Job Summary

Located in Natick, MA.

Reporting to the Manager of IT Compliance, the IT Compliance Specialist is responsible for key aspects of the IT Division's compliance to the Sarbanes-Oxley act, other laws and regulations governing BJ's Wholesale Club. The individual will work with the IT management team to evaluate controls, perform assessments, monitor regulations, work with auditors to ensure company compliance.

Responsibilities

The IT Compliance Specialist will be responsible for coordinating all IT related SOX compliance processes, assessing IT general controls in connection with program development, change management, computer operations, security and configurations as well as 3rd party service providers. The individual will also be responsible to facilitate control reviews to accommodate new business areas as well as changes in processes. Assist IT management in identifying gaps between policy and process, developing recommendations to remediate control weaknesses. The Specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining IT control metrics related to compliance activities.

Qualifications

BA in Business, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience. 4 plus years of IT Audit, Compliance or Technology Experience Knowledge of the retail regulatory environment desired 2 years of SOX 404 experience Experience with networks, platforms and applications Current knowledge of IT audit methodologies and control frameworks
